The Coffee Pot Book Club Book Award Badge has become a trusted badge of recognition for quality Historical Fiction, Historical Romance and Young Adult Fiction.
What is an editorial review?
Unlike a book review, an editorial review is written by professional readers who will compare your book to a professional standard, regardless of how it is published.
Editorial reviews give your book legitimacy and they are packed with quotable sentences you can use for marketing purposes. Editorial reviews are often used on the front of book covers, and on the editorial review page inside your book. You can also add your editorial review to the review section of your website, as well as your book's editorial review page on Amazon.
Editorial reviews help to sell books!
The Coffee Pot Book Club is happy to review:
Tudors, Stuarts & The Commonwealth
Historical Romance Time-Travel
Historical Romance Paranormal
*Please note: The Coffee Pot Book Club does not review BDSM or Horror.
The Coffee Pot Book Club Book Review Package includes a guaranteed honest review. The review will be posted on:
You will also receive The Coffee Pot Book Club Book Award badge, which you may use for marketing purposes for the book that has been awarded it.
Please note: As this is a paid review, The Coffee Pot Book Club will not post your review on Amazon as per their terms. But you are more than welcome to add the review in the editorial reviews section of your Amazon page.
The books which The Coffee Pot Book Club deem to be exceptionally well written will be awarded The Coffee Pot Book Club Book Award badge. All 5 Star reviews will be eligible for The Coffee Pot Book Club Book Of The Year Award in December for their book's category.

Cathie Dunn is a writer of award-winning Historical Fiction and Romance.
Following on from her early experiences as a critique partner, well over a decade ago, she began to review novels she enjoyed reading. To that effect, she set up a – now defunct – blog to share her thoughts with readers.
In around 2009, Cathie joined the Historical Novel Society as a reviewer, and was thrilled when her first submitted review made it to ‘Editor’s Choice’. She reviewed Historical Fiction titles for the HNS for several years.
Cathie has been an active book reviewer for a number of blog tour providers on both sides of the Atlantic for the last eight years, and she has also posted personal reviews to her own blogs. She enjoys reading a wide range of fiction, from Historical Romance to Mysteries to Contemporary Thrillers, although Historical Fiction remains her big love.
Cathie lives in the south of France with her husband, two cats and a rescue dog.
Jennifer C. Wilson
Jennifer C. Wilson is an avid reader and writer of Historical Fiction, and has been obsessed with time-travelling through the pages of a book since childhood. She is a keen book-blogger, taking part in numerous book blog tours at her website and loves both reacquainting herself with her favourite eras, and exploring new ones.
D. K. Marley (Yes, my name is Dee) is an award-winning author of Historical Fiction, and a lover of all things Shakespearean. Dee started reading historical fiction at the age of 13 (Victoria Holt) and never looked back, and started writing in the genre in high school after reading M. M. Kaye's The Far Pavilions. Now, she is a Top Reviewer on Netgalley, a reviewer for indie and traditional authors on her blog at The Hist Fic Chickie, an online bookshop owner at The Historical Fiction Press, as well as 35 years of experience in book cover and layout design. When she is not reading, writing, or reviewing, she loves to wander through castles, historic sites around the world, and dream of those people and places discovered through the books she reads. She lives near Atlanta GA U.S.A. with her husband of 35 years, an English Lab named Max, and a Westie named Daisy.
